Asheville, NC restaurants to reopen after Hurricane Florence
Restaurants in Asheville will reopen after the National Hurricane Florence is forecast to weaken.
Asheville Mayor Tom Tate says he hopes the restaurants and bars will reopen as soon as possible.
The National Hurricane Center says Hurricane Florence has moved inland and is expected to weaken over the next few days and will be back toward the coast by Tuesday.
Tate says he has spoken with local businesses and hopes to see them reopen soon.
He says there are already plans for restaurants to open, but he can’t say when exactly that will happen.
The mayor says he expects that will be the case by late Monday or early Tuesday.
