How to get to the top of the list for Thai restaurants
Thai restaurants in Australia have become popular tourist attractions and some are even recognised as world-class dining destinations.
The number of Thai restaurants has exploded in recent years, with more than 60,000 currently operating across the country.
But for those who live in the capital city of Sydney, a popular dining destination, Thai restaurants are still the top food destination.
“The restaurants have grown quite a bit since I moved here,” says Emily Dutton, who has been dining at Thai restaurants for the past six years.
“But the one thing I have found that has really improved my experience here is the food.”
Ms Dutton’s favourite Thai restaurant is the famed Khao Sahn.
“The food is very authentic and very authentic, and I love it,” she says.
“I feel that Thai food is the epitome of authentic.”
Ms Suthayat was also the first woman to be awarded the Michelin star for her restaurant in the world.
“It’s just a testament to the women here,” she said.
“They are the true stars of the restaurant and the quality of the food is second to none.”
We’ve been to a lot of the best Thai restaurants and they are all so much better than what they are in Australia.
“Ms Cawthorne says she has been enjoying her new lifestyle.”
Now I can’t wait to go back to the Thai restaurants,” she laughs.”
That is where the Thai food comes from, it’s really good.
