Pho restaurant chain is looking for new owner

The fast food chain, which opened its first UK restaurant in 2010, is set to close on June 30.
Owner Jim Taylor said: “We’ve been looking for a new ownership for a few years now and after looking at a number of options, we’ve come to the conclusion that we will be closing.”
Mr Taylor said he would look to recruit a team to bring Pho-Mart back to the UK.

The company was hit with a $250 million fine in 2015 after its former chief executive admitted to accepting bribes in return for approving a new restaurant.
The firm has also been the subject of a class action lawsuit by former employees.
The closure comes as Pho’s owner Jim Taylor is facing a series of legal proceedings after he admitted to using bribes to approve a new Pho place in London in 2010.
